Description

About Alex Figueroa, Table Tennis Coach
Alex Figueroa is a highly skilled, qualified, and personable table tennis trainer working from West Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. He is also available for online training sessions.

Alex holds a degree in International Training from the University of Leipzig in Germany, where he also met the ITTF's stringent requirements for Coach Level 2 status.

Alex Figueroa is a Colombian native who has a general Physical Education degree. He has been heavily involved in organizing large-scale table tennis events such as the South American Games in 2010 and the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles in 2015. As a result, he has gathered a wealth of experiences over time.

Figueroa currently serves on the Board of Directors for LATTF (also known as L.A. Ping-Pong) and actively promotes table tennis throughout Southern California, particularly in the greater Los Angeles area.

Alex is a self-thought tennis player who put himself through the ranks from being a recreational player to a competitive table tennis player. This process of seeking knowledge from nearly every possible source and improving his skills has also helped him develop an efficient teaching technique that he conveys and applies to students during lessons.

He organizes structured classes to teach and practice all the topics he wants to cover, yet flexible enough to adapt to students in real-time. He assesses his students' strengths and weaknesses and tailors his classes to take them to the next level. Alex is composed and upbeat, and he genuinely cares.

Every table tennis enthusiast in Los Angeles could sharpen their skills by booking a session with coach Alex!
