About Long Beach Table Tennis Club
The Long Beach Table Tennis Club is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to promote table tennis and provide healthy recreation for the residents of Long Beach and the surrounding areas.

It was founded in 1933 to create a sustainable environment for developing the competitive spirits of table tennis players.

In addition to a prime location and ample floor space, the Club is well-equipped with tournament-standard tables that are ITTF approved. The Club's hardwood flooring and first-rate lighting make it an ideal location for table tennis practice and tournaments.

The Club believes in encouraging its members' competitive spirits. This led to the establishment of a Club League, which is played over four seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer).

In addition, the Annual Fred Martin Memorial Tournament has been held for the past 12 years. Entry is free for club members, but players without membership must pay a small floor fee.

Membership subscription is open to both Senior citizens over 65 and juniors under 18. The Long Beach TTC is one of L.A.'s oldest clubs. It takes pride in its strict discipline and adherence to instructions. This is evident in the table tennis competence and tactical discipline of its players.

Veteran coaches Alex Heske (lifelong coach with over 30 years experience and accomplishments in tournament events) and Ray Garcia led the coaching staff. Both men are always available to mentor and train players of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels.

Check out the Long Beach TTC at Oak Gymnasium 10911 Oak St. Los Alamitos, and get a taste of the game's excitement.
