Established in 1992, Maryland Table Tennis Center is one of the most well-equipped table tennis clubs in the US. The 1000-square feet facility offers both group classes (with a junior program) and private coaching. You can go for open play or participate in leagues/tournaments, which are held throughout the year.

The club has professional coaches like the former US No. 1 and the USA Table Tennis Hall of Fame member, Jack Huang. The club has higher rates than other places in the area, so we recommend doing your research before you go. You don’t need a membership for open play.

Established almost 50 years ago, Baltimore Table Tennis Club is affiliated with USA Table Tennis. The club trains some of the best players in Baltimore who have brought several titles to the city from the USA Table Tennis Championships.

This is not a big table tennis club in Maryland to play as the space is shared with SportsWorld in Columbia, but you get a clean space with a waiting area. If you want professional private coaching, the rates go as high as $260 per session but the coaches are Olympic level, such as former Olympic champion Rao Nian.

If you are looking for a way to socialize through ping pong, SPIN Washington DC is the place we recommend. This is not a training club and doesn’t offer any coaching classes but you can have access to ping pong professionals every week through the club’s weekly leagues.

SPIN also organizes several social leagues throughout the year where you can play with the local talent pool. The club also has a cafeteria, a bar, and an online shop. You don’t need a membership for this club and prices start from $9 per hour.

The table tennis club in Maryland was created to give the public an opportunity to play ping pong and socialize as well. It doesn’t offer professional coaching, so we don’t recommend it to players who want serious training. This non-profit organization is managed by Lower Shore Parkinson’s Support Group.
